How to Train Your Subconscious Mind (Practical Exercise) by Francis Bills

This exercise is designed to simply explain the process of training your subconscious mind, with the goal of having you see what you are truly capable of and to experience remarkable results in your life.

This exercise requires your participation and full attention. All you’ll need is a sheet of paper and pen.

If you are not currently able to commit your time and attention on doing this exercise right now, please return to it at a later time when you can focus 100%.

The first thing that I would like you to do is to write down a thought or idea in which you would truly like to implement and achieve.

This can be anything.

It can be a material item, a business venture, an experience or perhaps a new habit pattern.

The key is that this must be something in which you truly want for yourself. For your growth, expansion, self-expression and well-being.

Once you’ve identified what you want and written it down, draw a “thought cloud” around the idea.

Then, draw an arrow pointing away from or below the thought cloud.

Next, think about the “essence” of having what you placed in the thought cloud. Think about what it feels like to have what you’ve described.

Visualize yourself being, doing or having what you’ve described. The more specific and vivid the image you create, the better.

The goal is to move into the emotional state or feeling of that in which you want. This feeling of what you want is the feeling in which you want to return to and remain in.

*Note: This may be the most challenging aspect of this method, but it is also the most crucial. Remaining in the state of the wish fulfilled, the feeling of it is of utmost importance.

Do not allow any distractions, negative or destructive thoughts or outward appearances to prevent you from keeping this feeling within you.

Return to this feeling as frequently as possible. Your persistence in doing this, returning to the positive, constructive feeling and living FROM this feeling is the determining factor in changing your mindset.

Exercising gratitude for everything you have is the key to maintaining the desired feeling.

Also, you can increase the emotional energy put toward your desired state in a number of ways.

Some people use high energy music, exercise, deep breathing exercises, aerobic activity, stretching or any other activity which heightens or intensifies your emotions.

Combining the physical energy with the thought energy magnifies the intensity of the feeling desired.

Once the essence or feeling of what the idea or thought gives you is identified, write it down on the sheet of paper.

For example, if the feeling of your thought or idea is freedom, satisfaction, fulfillment, increased energy and self-expression, write out these feelings.

Once you’ve written down the words which describe the essence of your idea, draw a heart around the words or the description of the feeling.

So now you’ll have:

1)  Your thought or idea encased in a thought cloud

2)  An arrow leading from the thought cloud to

3)  The words used to describe the essence or feeling of your idea encased in the shape of a heart

Lastly, draw a figure of a person (YOU) in action. Draw another arrow from the image of the heart towards the image of the figure you drew of yourself in action.

What you’ve just done is drew out the process of changing and training yourself to achieve anything in which you truly desire.

You start with an idea, the thought, or the vision. Then you impress it upon your subconscious, your heart, by emotionalizing the idea and living FROM the FEELING of the desired state.

You do not force your subconscious, you convince your subconscious of your beliefs, your convictions you hold of yourself and what you’re truly capable of.

Your subconscious accepts what you have given it and moves instinctively through the use of your physical body to out-picture your idea in the objective or physical world.

Q. So how can I apply this method to my life and experience the benefits?

A. By using your power to think, to come up with creative thoughts and ideas, and to keep your mind focused on what you believe, you have the ability to consciously create what you truly want in life.

What we feel and believe, we attract.

Growth, expansion and self-expression is a continuous and never-ending process.

It’s a perpetual commitment to living from the feeling in which you want and are consciously choosing at all times.

Thank you for joining me in this exercise. My goal is to get you actively engaged in taking action on your ideas.

Enjoy the process AS you grow, expand and express yourself.

Anyone who reads, understands and most importantly, implements this method on a continual and repetitive basis, is sure to experience remarkable results in their lives.

Sincerely,

Francis Bills
