Our worth and value comes from who we are, not what we do or what we have.
When we don’t know who we are, we look to others for validation, to tell us who we are.
The person who knows who they are doesn’t spend their time and energy on trying to impress others.
They value their time and put their energy on achieving their goals and creating the life in which they truly desire.
A major hindrance in goal attainment is a need for approval or a need to make others happy or proud of us.
If we base our goals on what we think others want or on what we think will make them happy, we won’t be fulfilling our true purpose and potential.
Ensure that your goals are based on what you want and that you’re not doing things to impress others or to get their approval.
Use your time and energy to pursue your own goals and don’t worry about proving, impressing or competing with others.
Maintain the creative mindset.
Your competition is with yourself to be the best that you can be.
You are living to fulfill your purpose, reach your goals and determine your own destiny.
Always feel good about who you are, welcome and appreciate support if and when you get it, but just don’t allow yourself to become dependent upon it.
Know who you are, rely on your inner strength, and you’ll be able to reach any goal and bring forth anything in which you truly want.
