The Importance of Maintaining Our Own Thoughts in Goal Attainment by Francis Bills

When setting and achieving our goals, there will be times when we may let our guard down and allow negative people or messages affect us.

 

Usually it’s during the times when everything is going well. This is when we have to increase our vigilance in keeping our thoughts only on what we want and off of what we don’t.

 

The key is to recognize when this happens and to bounce right back, reaffirm our goals and restate what we want.

 

There are always going to be naysayers, negative people and negative messages in our lives, but the important thing is to not let the false beliefs, negative suggestions or doubts of others become attached to us.

 

We can listen to others complain but we don’t have to agree with them or make their beliefs our own. Let others work out their limited beliefs while you keep yours resilient and strong.

 

Don’t try to change others, just focus on what you believe, value and know to be true.

 

Keep any negative, limited, or dis-empowering suggestions where they belong, with the people and outlets that promote them.

 

Remain steadfast on your vision, maintain your faith, keep exercising gratitude for what you have and don’t allow anything to distract you from reaching your goals.
