Keeping our thoughts 51% positive, constructive and away from anything that contradicts our ability to reach our goals is of the utmost importance.
What we tell ourselves on a continual, repetitive basis becomes our belief about ourselves and our ability to achieve our goals.
If we engage in self-destructive or limiting thoughts, we end up negating our own good.
We can potentially sabotage our efforts with our thoughts.
Let’s not deny that in which we affirm, know and believe to be true about ourselves and our abilities.
A great, practical method for overcoming the habit of engaging in destructive thoughts and thought patterns is by reversing the thought.
Whenever a critical or destructive thought arises, immediately replace it with its opposite.
For example, if the thought is a fearful thought, replace it with its opposite, faith.
Replace thoughts of sickness with health, hate with love, lack and limitation with the true thought of abundance.
This isn’t denying reality, it’s choosing to focus on what we want and what we want to bring forth in our lives, even when appearances may be telling us otherwise.
If we want good things in our lives, we can’t keep thinking and speaking thoughts of a contradictory nature.
We bring forth that in which we repeatedly affirm repetitively, with conviction and belief.
Our ability to reach our goals and to accept what we want is limited only by the limits we place on ourselves.
Practice the habit of unlimited thinking.
Practice the habit of reversing the thought, and with persistence and self-discipline, you’ll eventually get to the point where it becomes very difficult to think a destructive, negative or self-limiting thought.
This practice is sure to assist you in reaching your goals and to bring forth that in which you truly desire.
To your continued success and goal achievement,
Francis Bills
