The Value of Coaching by Francis Bills

I was asked about what I’m creating and what the value was. It’s a great question and as I enthusiastically explained it to my friend, he had a glazed over look on his face.
Everything that I was explaining, all the value that I could see in coaching, he couldn’t. I came to the conclusion that what each one of us considers to be valuable is very subjective.
The best way for anyone to know if something is valuable or not is for them to experience it, to benefit from it themselves. For it to work.
But before we experience something, we have to be open and receptive to trying it. Without the willingness to change or accept new and different ideas, we'll remain where we are, limited by our current beliefs and mindsets.
As a coach, I have the responsibility of helping others experience the benefits of what I’m sharing with them and what I know works. How do I know it works? I know it works because I have experienced it and I am still experiencing it, and I'm confident that coaching will work for you.
Some people might ask, “If what you’re doing and sharing with others works great for you, why don’t you just keep it to yourself?"
There are many reasons why I’m choosing to share what I know with others. I’ll provide a couple of important reasons here that I believe will help you and your business:
1) Giving and sharing your knowledge is one of the best ways to demonstrate that you care about and want the best for others.
I’m not talking about giving unsolicited advice, but giving others all that you can provide them when they do come to you for insight, information or support.
Keeping valuable information to yourself keeps you in a competitive mindset. This is a mindset of lack, limitation, fear and want.
When you give, you create more for everyone, yourself included. This is an abundance mindset and it's one of expansion, growth and prosperity.
Therefore, you're not looking to take or withhold from others. You understand that you have the same ability to be, do or have whatever you truly desire. That there's no monopoly on wealth and your wealth is not dependent upon anyone or anything outside of yourself.
2) Fully expressing yourself is life. Doing what you want to do, creating the life you truly desire; a life that is in alignment with your values, your principles and your beliefs is one of the most satisfying things you’ll ever experience.
Don’t just take my word for it. Be open and willing to accept new ideas, new people and new ways of looking at things and you’ll see for yourself.
There is a vast amount of potential just waiting to be discovered and expressed in each one of us. Be open to creating what you want and accepting opportunities to experience this truth. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll find.
Again, don’t just take my word for it, go out and implement your ideas and vision. Keep creating and experience it for yourself.
And when you do experience what I’m sharing with you, which I know you will, that’s when you’ll realize and understand the value of coaching.
To your continued success, growth, and prosperity,
Francis J. Bills
